Synopsis: Colaborama
Colaborama: Colaboraciones narrativas en Subtituscope, or Colaborama: Narrative colaborations in Subtituscope, is a multimedia installation / performance that explores new ways of telling stories. The piece promotes live colaboration using new media.
The installation simulates a cinema theatre where movies are projected wihout their original sound and voices. People can subtitle this movies live via computer keyboards. Users type anything they want in the computers and a software synchronises the prhrases with the actor´s mouth. Colaborama enables you to create your own movie using your favorurite actors.
The project is very versatile. During the day, the general public can subtitle movies with this platform at the exhibition point. And by night, there can be prepared screenings with special guests and live music.
Colaborama is a new platform for the creation of stories letting people play with other people´s work. A net of colaborations that come together through a common language generating unexpected results.
